Understanding prices
To understand prices, listen for:
- One number: $ 25 - twenty-five dollars, £ 10 - ten pounds, € 34- thirty-four euros, 85p- eighty-five pence.
- Two numbers: € 39.40 thirty nine euros forty, £ 9.99- nine pounds ninety-nine.
