- When introducing yourself or other people in a formal situation use full names. ("I'm Alex Litterman.")
- "How do you do?" isn't really a question, it just means "Hello"

Additional notes:
- In questions with auxiliaries do/ does, don't forget to use them. Typical mistakes: You live with your parents? (WRONG) or Why she didn't like the film? (WRONG)
- Remember the QUASI (Question word, Auxiliary, Subject, Infinitive) and ASI (Auxiliary, Subject, Infinitive).
- In questions with the verb to be, don't forget to invert the subject and the verb. Typical mistakes: Ana is a student? (WRONG) Where they are from? (WRONG).
- If a verb is followed by a question (eg. talk about, listen to, go to) the preposition goes at the end of the question. Eg. What did you talk about?
