IMPERATIVES
There are two forms of imperatives:
eg. Stop / Don't stop.
- To make imperatives, use the verb without a subject in affirmative. In negative use Don't.
- Using an imperative can sound rude when you want someone to do something. Eg. Close the door (a bit rude). eg. Can you close the door, please? (more polite)
- Let's (Let us) + infinitive is used to make suggestions which include the speaker.
