1. The Surin Elephant festival, November, Thailand
The Surin Elephant Round-up is a cultural festival held every year in Surin Province, Isan, Thailand. Usually the event is organized during the third week of November on the weekend. The festival has its origins in the royal hunts which were conducted in Surin Province during medieval times. The indigenous residents of Surin, the Kuy, have been traditional practitioners of corralling elephants and training them as working animals.
2. Sapporo Snow Festival, February, Japan.
This is one of the largest and most distinctive winter events.[2] In 2007 (57th Festival), about two million people visited Sapporo to see the hundreds of snow statues and ice sculptures at the Odori Park and Susukino sites, in central Sapporo, and at the Satoland site.[3] An International Snow Sculpture Contest has been held at the Odori Park site since 1974, and 14 teams from various regions of the world participated in 2008
2. GRAMMAR- Will and Going to
USE 1 "Will" to Express a Voluntary Action. It often suggests that a speaker will do something voluntarily.
Examples:
USE 2 "Will" to Express a Promise". It is usually used in promises.
Examples:
USE 3 "Be going to" expresses that something is a plan. It expresses the idea that a person intends to do something in the future.
Examples:
USE 4 "Will" or "Be Going to" to Express a Prediction. Both "will" and "be going to" can express the idea of a general prediction about the future.
Examples:
IMPORTANT
The Simple Future cannot be used in clauses beginning with time expressions such as: when, while, before, after, by the time, as soon as, if, unless, etc. Instead of Simple Future, Simple Present is used.

Examples:
- He is going to spend his vacation in Hawaii.
- She is not going to spend her vacation in Hawaii.
- A: When are we going to meet each other tonight?
B: We are going to meet at 6 PM. - A: Who is going to make John's birthday cake?
B: Sue is going to make John's birthday cake.
USE 4 "Will" or "Be Going to" to Express a Prediction. Both "will" and "be going to" can express the idea of a general prediction about the future.
Examples:
- John Smith will be the next President.
- John Smith is going to be the next President.
IMPORTANT
